The Rules of Mini-Baccarat
With little to do every round other than betting on a tie, the dealers hand or players hand, the game is easy to enjoy. The house controls the cards, there are no choices to make after betting. .
The purpose of the game is to get as close to nine with your card total then the dealer does..
A hand cannot “bust” as in Blackjack. Baccarat plays modulo 10, if your hand total goes over ten you subtract 10 from the hand total so the result is between 0 and 9.
After the player has decided to put money on a tie, the banker or players hand, they both get two cards.
If either hand is dealt a hand total of 8 or 9 it is known as a natural, the hand wins and the hand is completed. If both hands have an 8 or 9, that is a tie.
If there isn’t any Natural dealt with the first two cards, the subsequent rules establish what happens:

Following the deal, the hand with a value closest to nine wins.
